What You’ll Need
2 slices bread
1 avocado
Juice of ½ lime
1 8oz container whipped cream cheese
Gel food coloring — Red, Orange, Blue, Purple and Black
How To Make
Step 1: Toast 2 slices of bread.
Step 2: halve 1 avocado and remove pit.
Step 3: Scoop contents of 1 avocado into food processor and add juice of 1/2 lime. Process until smooth.
Step 4: Create a circle of avocado using a small offset spatula.
Step 5: Place ¼ cup whipped cream cheese into a small bowl and add gel food coloring of your favorite turtle’s color. Mix until completely combined.
Step 6: Transfer to a pastry bag fitted with a wide tip, such as a #104 or #48. Use this color to create the turtle mask.
Step 7: Transfer ¼ cup whipped cream cheese to a pastry bag with a #12 tip. Use this to create the whites of the eyes.
Step 8: Combine ¼ cup whipped cream cheese and black gel food coloring in a small bowl and transfer to a pastry bag fitted with a #3 tip. Use this to make the pupils of the turtle’s eyes and the smile.
